Good news everyone! We have a new host for the D.C. Panthers Fans! Please allow me to introduce your new host for 2006 - Mark!
Mark is originally from Charlotte, graduated from UNC and moved to the D.C. area in June. He found us through none other than Panthers.com, as have about 30 others!
Since Amy and I moved back to Charlotte, Mark is going to take over coordinating the Sunday meet-ups at Kitty O'Shea's. I myself will be attending the Panthers games in person. I'll just stop typing about that now - but if you're going to be attending any of the home games,
because I live 3 blocks from the stadium and I have free parking passes on my otherwise tow-your-ass street! ("No parking during stadium events! - Even the preseason!")
Mark has some great plans for the upcoming season including arranging a DCPF trip to the Ravens and Redskins games in October / November.
As a bit of a pre-season teaser, Mark would like to invite everyone in the D.C. area to Kitty O'Sheas for the nationally televised preseason game against Miami on Thursday Aug. 24 at 8 PM!
It's going to be an exciting year. I wish I could be there for the whole thing but I will be there for a few of those games! Please join me in welcoming Mark and his friend Steve to the team.
